Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a quiet gem. You play a lamplighter returning to a town caught in a strange perpetual dusk, and your job is to relight things — sometimes literally, sometimes emotionally. It's a hand-drawn adventure that leans on atmosphere over challenge.

Everything is tap-based, with puzzles built around light and shadow. Most aren't hard, but they're clever enough to make you feel smart, and a couple genuinely surprised me. The pacing is slow on purpose, and I found myself just sitting with the soundtrack playing during some scenes.

If you want tension and difficulty, look elsewhere. But as a wind-down game before bed, it's close to perfect. I finished it in three sessions and immediately missed it.
