Orchard Keepers

Orchard Keepers is a farming sim that finally makes trees interesting. Instead of the usual quick-harvest crops, you nurture orchards over long seasons, grafting varieties and managing what ripens when. It rewards patience in a way that feels a little different from its peers.

Management is done through clean menus and drag-and-drop planting. There's a lot to track, but the game does a good job surfacing what needs attention each day. I appreciated that it never nagged me with timers or energy meters — you play at your own pace.

It's loopy and comforting, the sort of game you open while doing something else and lose half an hour to. The late-game economy could use more depth, but for cosy sim fans it's an easy recommendation.
